East African Trading recently donated a magnificent pair of horns to a Charity Ball held in Bath in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.
The Event was organised by Becky Grobler, in support of her husband, Johan Grobler who intends to raise funds for the Hospice by competing in ‘the toughest footrace on earth’. Monies raised will be donated to Charlton Farm, near Bristol, one of three hospices run by Children’s Hospice South West, which provides care for children with life-limiting illnesses .Children’s Hospice South West
At the beginning of April Johan Grobler will travel to Morocco for the Marathon des Sables, a gruelling six-day multi-stage ultramarathon in the Sahara desert. Participants are given a tent and water, but all other requirement must be carried. It is a tremendous achievement to finish this event.
Johan and Becky were delighted that the Charity Ball in Bath raised more than 16,000 UK Pounds! East African Trading wishes Johan lots of luck and is delighted to have been involved in this very worthwhile fund raising event.
